These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rivet platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any part of our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Rivet provides an automated construction billing platform designed for subcontractors. The Service includes:
- AIA G702/G703 form processing and parsing
- Retainage tracking and management
- Progress billing automation
- Change order workflow management
- Lien waiver generation and tracking
- Integration with QuickBooks Online and Xero
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information is accurate
4. Subscription and Payment
Rivet offers subscription-based pricing plans. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload documents containing malware or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Reverse engineer or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your content to provide the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIVET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
